The stuff in Section 5 re: oil and gas companies is...in ADDITION to disclosure requirements that apply to the business in general.

In this case, for NWE, given it has a 400M Mcap; $10M in the bank; and still subject to a takeover offer, it is material to know:

1/ drilling progress. drilled depth, casing and hole construction details - planned V actual.
2/ drilling budgeted cost.
3/ lithologies encountered V expected lithologies so far.
4/ hydrocarbon shows, oil or gas and metres.
5/ wireline logging and any results thereof.
6/ other indicators such as drilling breaks etc.

Section 5 specifies the detail they need to disclosed for the above.

So maybe I address this to the chairman with a threat to involve ASX if no satisfactory response within 48hrs.
