Ann: Stable Patient in MND trial reaches 6-months on MPL, page-63

Stable to me in this context means the patient is not seeing degradation in health and function.
This does not mean they have not seen some degradation during or since the end of trial, but they are stable now.


Good sign - Trial team believe this patient will be ok with the entry criteria for Cohort 2 (or else they would not bother seeking it to happen)
NOTE: This further strongly support my understanding of stable.
Good sign - the patient has persisted with MPL
Good sign - the patient is stable
Good sign - the patient wants to move to a new regime to see if the benefits increase (logical to me)
Good sign - one more seat filled in Cohort 2
Good sign - even my wife thought this was good news and she can be a tough one to get over the line.


TBH, I can't find bad news in this one anywhere. I can absolutely understand the caution as this is not statistically significant by any means however, it is encouraging and far better than bad news.!
