Brisbane City Council were being supplied Doggy Poo bags by a Melb. based company known as "Dog Tidy Company".
The claim by this company was that they were a biodegradable bag with a minimum amount of plastic in them.
Liar Liar pants on fire.
Somebody must not have been happy with the way their Poo Bag was not breaking down because they sent some bags to a Lab to be tested and they were found to be anything but a bio bag and were nearly all content of plastic , yet they clearly said biodegradable on bag. Bye Bye to that contract and now enter the Masters of the Universe when it comes to the word "Biodegradable" and Franky G and the boys have this "Puppy" all sewn up.
This begs another question however for us the "Loyal Cardia Brigade of Biodegradability" and that is how many of these so called Green companies are actually doing the right thing and making a bag or item out there with claims of Biodegradability but in fact not the real McCoy.
Companies are slowly getting caught but they just seem to blame another source. Lets hope some serious fines will soon be introduced to those that make false claims on their product and the blame of the third party not accepted.
Be patient troops I think we will have more joy again soon.
