I think they already know - the functional assessments that make up the secondary endpoints, as well as the imaging, occur when each patient hits their respective time point in the trial and the clinicians see this immediately. I mentioned earlier that, while they might batch the bloodwork (although I doubt it) these other measures are being seen in real time and have been seen over the past 6 months (a little less for patients that came into cohort 1 later on). If you have a group of 6 patients on the same trial and their disease is progressing slower than normal, then you know.
You are, of course, correct that they can't state this publicly until the interim analysis is done, but it's coming.
