Working with the traditional owners is part and parcel for any explorer at the moment,but the heritage listing is something different even though it is only a proposal at this stage.
I agree with you that the current delays in trying to get a project off the ground is well and truly long enough,just being able to step foot on the ground takes long enough!and for any company to be able to work through all these delays,regulations,restrictions,etc and into production should be commended,because it is simply not an easy process,but that's the way of the game these days and if you want to be in it, you've got to roll with it.
It's these other things that pop up and are added on top after all that hard work (ie:super profits tax,heritage listing,etc)that makes you wonder if it's all worth it.
Would be interesting to know if you are right with regards to the Heritage Listing affecting only new leases.
