There's a few factors that could make this surge very quickly albeit from a low base here:
1. shallow ore detected, to enable early returns, project viability as per BOD strategy
2. inflation peak reached and rate policy cycle pivoting, indicating nadir for certain sectors, ie. buy zone
3. SA/NSW gov colour alignment factor, green steel/energy/manufacturing strategic play, ie. 'Braemar unlocked'
4. BOD shake-up rumours
...any of which could flare up without warning, HIO is very dry tinder...
