Funny, you should use that expression, "just don't get it". That's the expression Ken Henry used to defend his RRPT.

IMO, the finance world creates this and that to suit themselves, have an arrogant disregard for "mum and dad investors" and that is a WAY BIGGER PROBLEM.

Banks and the like are happy to take the money from "mum and dad investors", use it how they want without disclosure to mum and dad investors, but when the banks' actions cause problems, somehow, the little "mum and dad investors" are dismissed by the finance world with "Buyer Beware" and "you're not in our league"

Pride and greed, so obvious, but those with their heads up their smelly (too much rich food) a$$es "just don't see it".
