I see you are holding this stock - maybe others in the mining industry as well.

Your post suggests we will be better off through implementing the RSPT - will you personally bet better off?

Will your shares be higher in value?
Will your superannuation produce the same return that it did previously?
Will this government put the additional revenue to good use? (I see Ken Henry saying the aborigines have their rights to it as well - I didn't know that he made policy, but who else has a right? The Arts, The Theatre, etc).

Had Labour succeeded in getting the Emissions Trading regime up and running, would they have still implemented this tax? Who knows, but they have completely lost any trust I had in them.

They are no different from Gough Whitlam. Sooner gone, the better.
