Obviously you are more familiar with the goings on in this arena and you can look out (or down?) on the mum and dad investors.

People can bet on two flies crawling up a wall if they want. I think what the "Mum and Dad Investors" object to is having their "shares" not become shares, their money put in disappear, because the Wall Fly Guy just takes out the fly swat when he wants.

Why would he do it? Because he can, he's greedy and pride-filled and doesn't care two fly specks about the little people from the village.

Really, what is a "share" now, in this day and age??
