Have a read through various OEMs annual reports.

As arfbarf stated about Ford. Go read 2022 Annual report from Ford. They state in their report: they are looking to help fund and for the development of Lithium supply and downstream development of the battery and battery manufacturing processes in North America & parts of Europe.

This is but one company out of hundreds trying to do the same. Many want this to come to fruition to steer away from a reliance on China, poor ESG credentials (on battery manufacturing), slave labour (potentially), CCP autocratic regime control (world war control) and to avoid potential future supply chain issues seen through covid (ie if its sourced here its less likely to have issues getting here and potential issues if we cannot produce can be assessed directly ourself, rather than needing to fly somewhere when you cant due to lockdowns etc...)

An who is leading the pack in production in Canada? How many Spodumene producers are there in Canada that are now in production? When supply is of commercial quantity and quality who will line up for SYAs share? To say there wont be many/any is shooting in the dark.

Especially when many of these OEMs et al.. are trying to source locally to meet their own environmental regulations, under good mining reputation and good ESG reporting.

The big picture will take time to paint.

But I tell you what, I can see the faint lines of a Mona Lisa here.
