Exactly. The fact they still haven't done this work is shocking at best, negligent at worst.

Number of pumps required is based on the following variables
1) Plant capacity (ie 50ktpa)
2) Brine grade
3) process efficiency (ie recovery rate)
4) brine flow rate (ie pump rate)

From that you can calculate number of pumps. Bommer ballparked this at 60+GL per annum of brine, which based on a pump rate of 20L/s will require circa 100 pumps to extract the brine, and a further 100 pumps for reinjection.
