I guess you mean the spot price. It (spot price) isn’t weak, it was just insanely high before. Now it’s just high, and will settle somewhere reasonable.

Battery grade LCE from the source transacts at different (and more opaque) prices that are currently higher.

As for Canada, few spod producers will be vertically integrated, and each step adds a margin on top. Competing with vertically integrated producers like ASN is more difficult for them, it can easily be 20% or more expensive getting BG LC/LH of Canadian origin.
