Yes you're right. Surprising. The HY report states 72% of the portfolio is variable. I have a hard time believing this means they can adjust rates as the RBA cash rate increases though, as this would make them uncompetitive compared tot he traditional fixed rate offering. I imagine that such contract could then be terminated by the borrower too. If anyone knows about this in details, the info would be very much welcome...!
The SPP is "for up to $5mio". What will they do if the SP is significantly higher? Scale back that raise and doing so not allow SH to mitigate the effect of the dilution?
