so the coalition received "x" number of votes more, and still lost the election.
Darren Chester put it mildly after the last federal election (and I'm paraphrasing).
it's like going into surgery with a team, but the patient dies, but then announcing how well you did.
so what's the answer?
change the voting system, abolish preferential voting?
perhaps appeal to a larger proportion of the voting populace?
how is the current liberal party going to garner enough votes (and/or preferences) to win an election?
