No we haven’t we have the NIAA currently, we’ve tried atsic and possibly 100s of other groups of aboriginal organisations, all who appear to have failed.
Go into communities and ask who listens to the elders anymore, their own people don’t listen or respect their own people as much anymore, similar to respect dwindling in greater society.

What makes you think they know better that educated people such as sociologists, psychologists, anthropologists etc… voodoo?

The rates of murder, rape and incest just within communities are arguably amongst the worst in the world, do you think aboriginals in Canberra will teach those in the communities that these crimes are wrong. Do you think they will take the measures required to address these communities?

What do you actually think is needed to repair people in these communities.. better housing, better schools, better roads, better food… or do you know what the problems are firstly and secondly how to address them and do you think aboriginals will do a better job at this than those educated in these fields.

Maybe the problem is what actually needs to be done to fix the issues is known but society doesn’t really want to do what’s required, that society actually think it’s best in some perverse manner to keep them living like this and just fluff around the edges, some sort of guilt mentality ?

Do you have any answers other than it’s too hard for us to fix ?
