I tend to agree along these lines.

If this was to be a negative announcement, I reckon MIN would have just released to market without a TH, like NWE have done in the past with previous delays/blunders.

Anyone that would have been sitting on the fence about the TO would be more inclined to jump ship on news of a duster, with the risk free alternative being an easy conversion to MIN shares on release of this news (exactly what they want).

If I was MIN I would hold off releasing any positive news for as long as possible to play on punters minds, increasing the chances of scooping up any remaining shares from weak hands.

Nothing is a certain I’m the O&G game but this one is looking likely.
