I suggest you get up to speed, if your going to talk on the Biblical subject and find out how and why you should know you can speak with authority and certainty and know without doubt, none of it is coming from your own self or own imaginations.

Jesus made it VEERY clear he was flesh and bone, and he was seen going up, exactly the same and the people were told, they will see him come again, in like manor.
Jesus in John ch 5 makes it very clear, a time WILL come when those of his dead in the grave, will hear his voice and be raised.
This particular area is NOT just speaking in a spiritual context, but literal.
The spiritual context in this area, is clearly defined as such = separate thing being described away from this area.

Natural body and spiritual body, they simply put on the incorruptible = the word of God 1 Peter 1:23 = that then means immortality, same body.
The flesh aspect that cannot enter heaven is the words from flesh = from man.
Blood replaced with the Spirit of God = God to be all in all, by word and Spirit.

There is even OT passages or passage, bones put on flesh etc and come alive.
I do NOT give a hoot if this does or doesn't align with your science god.
No way does science have all the answers and they also have a LOT of bull dust.

Me being the first, re literal bodies going up = where the hec have to been, in a box, this is accepted by huge numbers.
Get out of the trinity land mob's mentality etc, and look into the likes of a true Unitarian.

There is almost no black or white in the Bible. It is a work that tries to impart a sense of the spiritual dimension of the human condition, which I might add is a purely abstract condition seeing as no human has a clue what God is, the true nature of Christ is and what the human spiritual condition is. Beyond that we don't have the slightest clue what happens beyond death, if anything at all.

So forgive me if I question your white being as white as you imagine it is.

What went up of Jesus, if up is the direction of heaven, was His spirit, just as it came down in like manner. When He, Jesus is seen again, it will be a spirit like Jesus in a new physical form with a new name and presenting a new religion. This is made clear by verses saying they will be singing a new song, or be part of the new Jerusalem.

Rev 3 : 11/12 - I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.

Rev 2 : 17 - I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.

Isa 62 : 2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory. And thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

Manifestation's of God, (Prophet / Messiah) serves the same Will of God, they are all one and do not differentiate one from another. So it can be said that Christ will return even though it will not be the previous body of Christ, because that body has gone the way of all dead bodies.

As for not giving a hoot about what science says, well there is only one reality and I'm not sure you get to make your own reality to fit in what you imagine or believe. Reality incorporates both religion and science no matter how much religion wants to be special and outside of reality.
