How many times have we all raced to buy on the open, only to see the stock trade lower later in the trading session? Whilst sometimes the opening presents the best buying opportunities, being in huge rushes to buy or sell doesnt always deliver the best outcome for the trading session. Many short term traders underestimate the value of dealing at the end of the day & obtaining better outcomes. For example if a stock still has excellent merit in the next trading session why not buy from the day traders exiting at the end of the session, also you have seen how the stock has behaved through the day. Many good opportunities can be bought late in the trading session including the crossovers. Likewise many good selling prices can also be obtained in the crossovers at the end of the day relative to the market openings.
We need to be flexible & not let either fear or greedy force emotional decisions on the open. I guess many traders now regret their opening price sales today & hoped they had watch & waited.
    Regards
