I asked that exact question directly to Brett at the AGM.

He was unclear why I was mentioning 1st of July 2023 as the start date of the offtake, as his take was that the offtake started at the start of production.

I had studied the annual report given to us at the AGM earlier and said, 'as stated here on page 11 in the AGM book you just handed out' and then proceeded to read it to him.




He took it onboard, but was adamant that the offtake started as soon as production started.

It is clear in the AGM video on youtube.

Although my take was anything produced pre July 2023 was SYAQ's, he did not share that view.

I actually got the gut feeling he a Keith had not even worked out the finer details yet. Otherwise, he would have been on point and very definitive with his answer

(So why not state that in the official comms then???)

It also states as agreed to by both parties, so I was angling to see if they would consider a later date, possibly even sometime in 2024 as a start date, when they were fully ramped for sc6, and retain everything pre that. No dice.....

So, I assume, it will be shared from the start ....even though there probably is an arguable legal position for SYAQ to retain and sell any product before the official start date, or any 'agreed to' date

To be honest,like most of us, I have been quite clear I am not happy with the PLL offtake...no Sayona holder is...
I would have used the start date as possible leverage to renegotiate the offtake, but Keith and Brett are in lockstep here.

Of course anything is possible, but I don't see the PLL offtake changing.

So, we hang on to volume waiver clause, and the commencement of refining carbonate at NAL...
