You raise a valid point. However, if the KRudd Government doesn't receive any revenue for the tax because we are in a downturn (again), then how is his latest budget funded?

The POINT is we need to reduce costs not compensate for excess expenditure.

I don't think the punters will be too harsh on any politician who "actually" lies, we are used to that, but this is Australia!
