The last couple of days have been very interesting indeed; here's my imaginary reading (or fantasy if you like) of it:
1. On most days turnover in the stock is low; like today for example
2. On the run up to the release from the escrow, buying is starting up between 0.5 million to 2.5 million shares. Since there were no news relating to the HLF specifically, I assume, this was an effort in starting a trend reversal; or at least to achieve a higher price level to sell from the next day.
3. Selling starts just before release from escrow on 29th March, with delivery date after release from escrow.
4. Good news from Woolies contract is buffeting / moderating price impact of selling (about 2.5 million shares).
5. A short reprieve is interrupted by new selling pressure (another 2.5 million shares).
6. This big seller - of course - has no idea how good the 4th quarter has been for HLF; that's why he is selling (I am sarcastic here).
Well, well, well: honi soit qui mal y pense - me finks.
