BG was looking for promising abandoned drugs whose patents had lapsed.
He waded through all the medical and patent literature, "rediscovered" bisantrene and submitted new patents in his own name.
Then he sold the patents to RAC for 16 million RAC shares.
Then he gradually sold down over a couple of years and collected about $30m.
I'd love to be as dumb as BG.
