Im well aware of all of that. Youve misunderstood.
It doesnt matter if its class 1 or class 2 nickel. Thats not the point. NPI moves inline with class 1 nickel albeit at a discount. So if class 1 nickel is going up/down, so is NPI. It would have to be a very select set of circumstances for these prices to move in opposite directions.
Hence, nickel is heading up as is the NIC SP. The mkt is a fwd looking indicator so the expectation is that if the prices continue to move up NPI contract prices should step up in the current qtr. I'm not concerned bout the financials for Mar qtr. They'll be better than previous qtr.
Ive ignored your other commentary as its not relevant to the point Im making about why NICs SP is trending up.
