Well...the battery materials markets in general are pretty screwed right now. People are looking for other ports to put their money to work. The long waits inherent in the business itself are draining the patience and confidence of many investors. The graphite market itself is difficult to assess and it takes a lot of capital from institutional bodies to reduce dependence on China. Which, of course, also involves risk, and I think very few people can use that in already very uncertain times.
At least I was able to learn that it currently makes little difference whether you want to mine graphite in Sweden or in Tanzania/Ukraine…
