It's important to note that these are just minimum amounts for just ONE contract (of potentially many others in the future) - if the University of Miami requires more scans, they'll still pay additional amounts. It's good still to have modest guaranteed revenues.
The significance of the contract signed was its validation of the company's product and the positive publicity this is given to the company in the healthcare space. With more positive updates expected to be made by the company in the coming weeks and months, this is likely the start of a greener future.
Today's announcement may encourage short term investors to move on but that's fine. More opportunity to buy at a cheaper price for long term holders.
