LOL that's right you read correctly the ACCC's is to supress competition to ensure an adequate return for the NBN.
This measure was deemed necessary in the KPMG report and the governmet has alocated appropriate funding to the ACCC to make this happen, as announced in the budget.
Probably the only competition watchdog in history to actually be required to supress competition in return for money from the government.
Not sure about you but my confidence in the ACCC is non existant.
