to me, what it displays is a very large lack of imagination - again and again and again - all we hear about is short term fixes
crime - so, bring in coppers or bring in the military
at least with the voice - be it good or be it bad ----------- at minimum, it's an idea which is about making a difference in the long term
what do we hear from the Liberal Party about the long term - what do we hear about concepts and ideas that will make difference a couple of generations down the track????? zip
what's the best that can happen bringing in military or AFP????? - contain the immediate - put a lid on the boiling pot so the splashes won't come out
the problem with putting a lid on a pot is that --------------- it boils harder
what is so simple to grasp that to bring a pot off the boil --------------- one turns down the heat and removes any lids
