@Kailash70; policing has NEVER been an easy profession. I've several close family members and friends who kids are currently serving in 'The Force' so after working closely with Police as a public school principal for decades I've some insights into the reality of policing.

Your comments about DV are absolutely bizarre - battered and killed partners and suicides are tragically way too commonplace an occurrence throughout Australia today - NOT just in Alice Springs either!

Your comment about the paperwork though does ring true, the computer software I've seen Police having to use to compile reports places them at a huge disadvantage relative to the high powered legal beagles they come up against in court.

It's fair to say I don't share your extreme pessimism about either policing in general or in relation to First Nations Peoples. If you're in the police service and that's how you feel, you need to seek help ... urgently!
