The problem with relying on anecdotes is that you need to verify your source. In this instance the source is a cosmetic nurse living in Darwin, recently in court on false declaration (lying) and harassment charges who is presenting herself as knowledgeable on abuse in Aboriginal communities around Alice Springs. Maybe she knows something, maybe she's got no idea and is attention seeking. Dutton claimed that his sources were front line workers who'd told him of the abuse. Given the extent of media coverage of his visit it's surprising there was no footage of him in lengthy discussions with any of these front line workers. Perhaps they told him at another time in another place. Or perhaps he just made the whole thing up.
