Today the President of the Community of Extremadura was present with the Mayor of Caceres and the President of the Government of Spain at a rally in Caceres. They have announced that they are going to modify the land to put more industrial land in the city of Caceres.
They have also made statements that how well the European Union does in energy matters depends largely on Extremadura.
In the previous candidacy for mayor of Cáceres, he presented himself with a "NO TO THE MINE". Now he hasn't mentioned the subject anymore because he knows he's changed his position.
This silence on the subject is good since the mayor is from the progressive party (in theory he should be against the mine). On May 29 there are municipal elections.
