10c, I have ranted about this before. I think we should only use unadjusted data in charts, but it has become unavoidable to use adjusted at most times which can change many characteristics of the chart. As far as I can work out, the adjustment after spp's etc is an antique mechanism that has no relevance today.
Not sure what the practice overseas is, but I have still not come across a convincing argument to retain this custom.
