Wouldnt it have it great if the Ukrainians had surrendered to Putin after 4 days (like the Dutch did to Hitler)

Then the fight against Putin would have been diplomatic and civilian (without shooting), with protests, strikes, embassies closing,
politicians resigning from their posts, people not going to work, etc etc and a
more diplomatic resistance to the occupation including support from the West. After
a couple of months of this, Putin would have to retreat with his tail between his legs.

The pen is mightier than the sword as they say, and also if you cant win the hearts and minds of the people then its game over.
