I worked with it for 30+ years and it won't make it in passenger vehicles on mass IMHO.

• It has the widest explosive limit, far more volatile than other fossil fuels.
• It can leak out of seals that can hold other gas like LPG.
• The weight of the ultra high pressure cylinders to store it so you get the range.
• Passing crash tests without a leak will be fun to watch.(From a safe distance.)
• Infrastructure required.
