You will notice they also specify the number of Government appointed Board members to the Initial Board, so the Government wants to be involved in the company from day 1 , it’s not just about receiving dividends.
Not sure if smaller projects would be eligible for a SML, but yes likely they will try due to time restrictions on there existing licences. I don’t know how financiars work, do they assume a licence will be extended beyond the initial 10 years , even if there are no guarantees of that occurring? I guess some will take the risk, others wont I suppose.
But agreed a good day for Tanzania mining in general.
