You may well be right. Although when I sold my holding, part of my thinking was that if the SP did not spike in a hurry, I could get back in, becaue I like LYL as a company. I have a capital loss that I have been carrying forward for years, so realising a $50+k profit would reduce that, but not attract tax. Also, I had taken funds from a mortgae account to buy those shares in February 2022, so I can tip what I realised by selling them back into that account, and thus give it leeway, should I fancy another punt of the nobrainer variety.

On the metrics you mentioned, I will in coming months have a deeper look into LYL's financial report, because the way LYL reports needs to be scrutinised. Hypothetically, LYL could have X million in cash that is in effect a customer's deposit, or on the NPAT aspect, a reversal of a large provision can inflate profit that had been deflated in the past by over provsioning. I just was not in the mood to delve into the accounting, because, as I said, unless the SP runs generously northward, I could get back in if I think the stock is going to remain resonably liquid (historically, LYL has been an illiquid stock).
