That low AISC is related to their exceptional operational management and planning (compared to other gold miners) on what most would consider uneconomic resources due to low grade , and would only reinforce the argument the opportunity cost of capital for them due to their excellent managerial skills is far higher than the 5% they use for their discount rate in the NPV.
