Another good, brief read (from the American Academy of Dermatology Association) that demonstrates the issues around all the other treatments available, and to me suggests why BOT's SB should have a solid impact on the hyperhidrosis market:

In summary, what's wrong with all of the existing treatments?:

• Antiperspirants - It only blocks up the sweat glands and 'should' signal the body to stop producing sweat. Some people develop a burning sensation and/or irritated skin. Some patients are concerned antiperspirants can cause breast cancer or Alzheimer’s.
• Iontophoresis (the no-sweat machine) - mainly for hands and feet, not for underarm hyperhidrosis.
• Botox - Fairly soft review mentioned here, and doesn't mention the pain and difficulty I have read elsewhere, but nonetheless mentions that the treatment only lasts 4-6 month before requiring retreatment, and the side effect of muscle weakness. Plus there's the big dollar cost.
• Prescription cloth wipes - Side effects can include dry mouth, redness on the treated skin, and burning or stinging where the wipe touched your skin. SB was shown to hardly display any of these side-effects.
• Prescription meds and/or Surgery - that's a whole nother ball game and lots of risk. Why do it when you can use SB!
