Thank god KKO has finally got rid of one of their two-bit agreements.
Vutomi was always an ANC black-elite shell, and just like everything ANC-related, they are useless and would never have generated a watt of electricity.
I have said repeatedly that this pilot electrical project was dead straightforward;
a) Hire a containerized 1MW unit and dump it in the paddock
b) Hire a switchboard/transformer container and dump next to it.
c) Connect the wells with low pressure piping and attach to a containerized gas scrub module dumped next to the others.
d) Connect to the adjacent HV electricty lines and switch it on.
A WA minesite would have sorted this in a couple of months - JUST DO IT!
And while you are about it, cancel that two-bit agreement with FFS - they are out of their depth and will probably not deliver either.
From now on focus on agreements with significant parties like Sasol and Eskom directly - we are on their doorstep, after all!.
