things to consider for those who think liberals will romp in the next election:
- governments rarely (never) lose an election after their first term
- the seats the turn a federal election don't give two hoots about the rspt
- the libs don't have that much damning evidence to hang their hat on, sure pink bats etc are an issue but they won't turn an election
- the unions havn't switched into election mode as yet and hit the airwaves
imo, abbot is being put up as the sacrificial lamb this coming election to preserve hockey having a real crack at the next
disclosure: probably won't be voting libs or labour next election
labour will lose an election by a landslide, page-14
