There is no way that a rate of 40% will go through. There are already cracks in the idea and I think Kev will fold and give in to the miners resulting in a new lower tax rate which would still collect a huge amount to pay off his huge deficit which is his fault, it was badly managed from the start. I feel that there is a little bit of manipulation in all of this and that Kev will cave in and come out on the top with voters thinking how wonderful he is (I don't think so)which will then follow with him being voted back in. I think this is all a bit strange with an election looming? My policy - dont trust any of the ********!!!
Good luck to all. If I had a fortune sitting around I would buy up BHP big time because if this tax gets lowered just watch the money flow back into Aus.
