Depends. A lot of contracts are likely to have 'force majeure' clauses. I suspect Nationalising an industry, meaning the contract is no longer with say Albermale, would mean that 'force majeure' can be invoked (by either party to the current contract at that time I suspect, especially if supply cannot be provided in a timely manner).
