Hi Roo, AP has set the bar high on the Amistad Al 2 drill. If the pay starts just below 400m and extends to depth at 2000m and he intends to core and test all 3 compartments then that will need at least 6 drill string pulls to change drill bits for coring bits and vice versa in my ignorant view. I can’t envisage coring the whole 1600m. This drill will take longer than some may expect. However, if he is successful then it is self evident that the resource has the potential for a substantial upgrade. Again this also will take time. Based on Al1, one month for in house volumetrics then another for McDaniels to certify it. Hopefully, if the flow tests and oil samples are good you won’t have to wait for Marti to come in to break out the champagne. Mx have spent 15 months demonstrating what they can’t achieve, now they have the opportunity to show us what they can. I hope they can master this well , then we can look at Marti, it’s tiger country down there. So good luck to Mx and us, for the larger holders this could well be life changing and we are at last on the final countdown to Shangri-La. Must go and tell the white rabbit. He will be ever so pleased.
