I agree, there wll need to be some kind of announcement on Thursday or latest Friday.
No doubt the court will need to advise Talga that there has been an appeal lodged against them.
However, I think some clarity around the time line for the appeal permit to be reviewed should also be provided.

Doing some more research, I have a feeling we will get an outcome sooner rather than latter:

"Time Limit - An appeal (including an application for permission to appeal) to the Court of Appeal must be submitted to the district court within three weeks from the pronouncement of the judgment. If a party appeals to the Court of Appeal, the other party may appeal any part of the judgement which it has lost within one week from the expiration of the initial three weeks' limit. If leave for appeal is granted, the parties will be ordered to respond to the other party's appeal within a period set by the court."

Looks like if permission to appeal is granted, TLG would have a chance to appeal that decision. Given that it has to be done within one week from the expiration of the initial three week limit. TLG would need to have heard the result, well before next week Wednesday.

To me, this seems much like the US system whereby the appealee submits their appeal on grounds to the appeals courts and they then determine straight away, whether to dismiss it or not.
