i never understood this but why do the lawyers (who get rich) go after the users of it and not the makers of it. maybe our country would be different if we banned all this stuff in the 1800/1900 like coal too, we might still be developing countries catching up to China more then we are now. so if a company in 1850 built something that new tech says is deadly in 2000 the company that used it, is liable? not the company that made it? even though it was not illegal to use when they used.
