The 'E' in BOEPD isn't there for nothing.
Oil companies like to report gas production at an oil 'E'quivalent but this is an energy equivalent, not a financial equivalent. The most commonly used conversion is 6000mscf per bbl but gas sells for less than oil. The value realised for gas also varies depending on the type of gas.
It is therefor incorrect to assume $75/bbl.
