Tammekand - yep Tui is correct- there is no requirement for a director to hold shares in a coy - the appointment of an Alternate director is pretty common.
the appointment of the lwayer is no surprise as he would know the coy (and BOW has already paid heaps for his knowledge anyway).
RP comes from USA does he not - once I called him and I was put thru to the USA - so i suspect he has family there maybe?
the fact that RP is on hols o/seas says to me that there would not be any major decisions made by BOW whilst he is away???
(hey, maybe its a good opportunity for Woodside to lob a bid whilst RP is away from the office???)
