CNBC: Stocks ended the session on a high note, led by energy, tech and financials. Investors grew reassured that China wasn't about to reignite fears about European debt and bargain hunters swooped in.

Late sell off yesterday on the back of fears China was going to pull the plug on European investments and that comment has been withdrawn. So the DOW should do well on the back of stronger European markets today and to catch up for sell off of yesterday."
