Akida 1.0 clearly didn't provide enough functionality to be a "better mousetrap" than existing tech. But it did pique enough interest to entice a load of big players to allow BRN inside their "development tents."
That's why 1.5/1500 was developed - the company took on EAP/Customer feedback and added what they said they wanted. Which is the sign of a company willing to shelve their egos, make changes to their product to satisfy client requirements and give them a solution to meet future needs, based on their feedback. The company has to be service focused.
As to Sean's attitude - he's not been with the company since it's inception - will he ever be as passionate about the company as say the crew that brought this tech to life from their "garages?"
