The Selmax Story

Through HC and the constant off line requests by a younger and enthusiastic trader/poster, I finally gave in to the requests to help him become a better trader. Im not saying Im a worthy tutor,however when you do this for a long time you learn a lot of tricks which you hope one day you can share with others, to eliminate the mistakes one makes a long the way.

Can I say its been a massive challenge for me and a few times nearly gave up sharing with him. I would often look on XJO and see another stoush or bait Selmax had thrown, the frowns he got from other posters pale compared to the blasts he got from me off line often suggesting there would be no more tutor if one didnt grow up.

I saw a few great posters offer Selmax a hand in discussion which he destoyed and then lost the ability to converse and gain there knowledge offered, he regrets it now but has learnt a valuable lesson.

In my honest opinion Selmax the kid has raw trading talent and would back him against most around him. Over more recent weeks, he had made some horrible mistakes in which Im proud to say he has got HIMSELF out of, but more importantly he stood back recognised what he was lacking and is well and truly in the green. I also saw first hand an incredible trade he pulled on HSBC recently

The one stripe he needs to learn going forward, is to control his baiting, but then we all get a bit full of oursleves at times.

I felt it was important to also share this with people to understand the real hard work this kid has been doing behind the scenes. He has an incredible passion to succeed and a willingness to learn and I will always offer my support to like minded people, as sometimes we all need a little guidance.

So I say Well Done Selmax
