If you have been "candlesticking since the early 90's"...perhaps you aren't using them correctly?
I'm not sure what you have been doing with them, but perhaps you should try looking at the candlesticks instead...it would probably be much less painful!
By the way, good call on the "ominous" dark cloud cover sign...LOL!
